		<description>Yes, the white stuff is calcium, a natural mineral in almost all water.
if there is a significant build up it will block the sunlight from reaching the solar panels.
Solution is CLR.  Or a similar calcium remover.  Follow the directions on the bottle.
They can be found in any grocery store in the bathroom cleaner aisle.  Or at a hardware store. 
It would be best to do it occasionally rather than waiting for the lights to stop working.</description>
