How Do I Convert The Out Put Of Solar Panels In Watts To Kilowatts Per Month.?

I am looking at a set of solar panels that produces about 400 watts of electricity and plan to use them on a grid tie system. My house uses about 700kwh per month.

Can You Choose Between Solar Panels And Aircraft Fuselage Report?

If you were to be asked to write a material(s) report on either
-solar panels
or
-aircraft fuselage
Which would you choose?
well i was asked to choose between these two,so i guess that if i choose what the majority wouldn’t, i might just score a little bit higher, what do you think?if you are the lecturer you would want something different right?

Why Isn’t There A Requirement That Buildings Install Solar Energy Panels?

I have been hearing dire prediction of things to come because of global warming and the fact we are running low on fossil fuels sources, there is a possibility of widespread blackouts next summer.
Why aren’t government buildings and all homes and commercial buildings that are located in areas that get so hot they require airconditioning required to install solar panels? Why isn’t it part of building codes?
I was told it’s too expensive to require that in every building.
My sister who lives in Tempe Arizona told me that many people did install solar panels but they didn’t work out because when they need maintenance or repairs you can’t find qualified people to do the work. Is this the true?
Well, it just doesn’t make sense to me why the sun couldn’t be used to cool the very buildings it makes too hot to occupy.. Any information?

If I Connect Solar Panels, A Battery, And A Load, Can I Figure Out How Long It Lasts?

Say the battery is 40 Amp-hours and the load uses 5A. If the solar panels are recharging the battery at 2A, do I have enough info to find out how long the batter will last? If not, what more would I need?

Is There A Solar Panels 101 Course Or Book?

I am investigating using solar panels to provide some power at home, in Corpus Christi, Texas but there is little practical information available. Is there a book, course or, better still, someone in the area that has first hand information?

Do Solar Panels Require More Energy During Manufacturing Than They Produce Over Their Lifetime?

A friend told me that the energy required to manufacture a solar panel is greater than what the panel is expected to produce during its lifetime, thus making them inefficient and unsustainable, and I have not been able to find any literature which agrees. Can anyone point me in an academic non biased direction? I remain skeptical.

What Are The Limits Of Solar Panels?

Does a solar panel work under a full moon a tiny bit, or not at all? Likewise, if you used mirrors or lenses the concentrate sunlight, is there a maximum to how much a solar panel can handle?

Which Are The Lightest, Available Solar Panels At The Moment?

I have this keen vision of a helium blimp powered entirely by solar panels, not even carrying a battery bank.
That would save it from being a “fly by night” (haha!), which is just as well, but what it would require is enough solar panels to power a little electric motor (I am hoping to bring it up to maybe 70km/h, or 45mph) – and they would need to be extremely light, of course.
Is there anything out there, or on the horizon, that might do it?
