How To Prevent Solar Power Lights From Getting Stolen?

Although they haven’t been stolen YET, I expect my solar power lights to get stolen sooner or later. I was wondering if you know a good way to prevent them from getting stolen (other than moving them somewhere else or not putting them out at all)?. Oh, and i would not like to make a cement foundation for them or buy different ones -lol. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Drill a hole through the base of each one, just below ground level, and string a plastic-jacketed steel cable through them all; then bury the cable in a shallow trench between the lights.

Wow I never thought anyone would steal lights. I have had mine since they first came out. I added some really nice ones this year – hummingbirds that change colour.
Not sure what kind you have but what about trying something like the pegs you hammer into the ground to hold done a tent pole. It could be concealed under mulch and maybe some type of cord from peg to peg again concealed. A thief would want to get in and out fast. If they get some resistant they may just leave. Another thing you could do is put a motion detector light on the front. If someone goes near your solar lights a light would come on and they would take off.
Good luck on them not being taken.

Another option is to use Quikrete and cement the stake into the ground, then after it dries, mound soil over it.

The first answer is the best. I want to buy solar lighting but have been hesitant due to theft. His idea is good — I just might go and buy some now!
