Is The Purpose Of Solar Power To Reduce Greenhouse Gas?

How will reducing co2 from coal be better for greenhouse gasses when producing solar panels creates a greenhouse gas (NF3) that is 17,000 times worse than co2?

Answer: And the batteries to store the power!
Lies of the socialist left fail to address that…And for good reason…They are against that current tech as I type this!
P.S. Note above that solar panels “never wear out”…Yeah! Right!

It costs too much to install a solar power system for it to be economically feasible. The only way it could possibly work is to have two electrical systems at the point of consumption. Anything that could be run on 12 volts should do so and just heavy duty items like large appliances etc. on 120 volts. I have often though it would be advantageous to put a 12 volt solar powered lighting system in. In the future items like radios, TV, and computers could be run on 12 volts as they really do now with the use of step down transformers (power supplies). You would still need to have more generative capacity to accommodate that increase.

  • Your Bitter Half:

Creating a solar panel is a one-time operation. Sure, it creates a greenhouse gas, but it only does that once, during production. After that, no greenhouse gases are emitted so the over-all amount of pollution is less compared to a constant output of greenhouse gases from coal

  • Read the story, it is used to manufacture the device, just once. Do you really think the equipment used in coal plants was not made with any chemicals?

It really isn’t all that much better in terms of that, however, it is a renewable source supposedly.

Let’s save energy instead! Don’t eat like a pig until you are so obeise that you need air-con even in winter. Walk or ride a bike instead of using every single drive-in in sight. Okay?
